POS Machines

 

Shivalik Bank empowers its current account holders with POS machines.

 

 

We Offers below machines to our merchants- 

  • PSTN- Identified as Public Switched Telephone Network(PSTN), these devices work on fixed land line telephone connection. Therefore, these can be used by only those merchants who are having landline telephone connection at their premises.
  • Portable GPRS- These devices work on GPRS technology and are therefore portable. These can even be used while roaming. These are ideal for collecting payment during home deliveries and also during events like trade fairs.  Very convenient for petrol pumps also. 
  • Mobile PoS- These devices work with android phones and can be attached to any mobile through 3.5 mm jack. Can be used during roaming also.

About Shivalik Merchant Acquiring-

  • Any existing customer or even the non-customer may avail the benefit of Shivalik Merchant Acquiring Services.
  • Service is available for CA/CC/OD/OO account holders.
  • If service is offered in CC/OD/OO accounts, approval from cluster head is required.  No prior approval is needed in case of Current Accounts. 
  • Our Merchant Acquiring Services enable merchant to accept all Visa/ MasterCard/RuPay cards for payment.

Charges/Fees/T&C- 

Shivalik offers merchant acquiring services at attractive rates to its existing as well as new customers. Salient features are as follows:

  • Cost of terminal is borne by the bank.
  • Nominal monthly rental is charged for installation of terminals.
  • Flexible pricing options -  customer may give CASA and monthly cost can be levied on decision of BM after checking the CASA amount.
  • For Petrol pumps no MDR.
  • All charges as per the Merchant Establishment Agreement signed by you with the bank shall apply.
  • Presently, there are no installation charges for any location or type of business.
  • All charges are excluding taxes. Service Tax & VAT shall be levied as per geography.

 

Below are the MDR details - (Merchant Discount Rate) This is the fee charges to merchant by bank, it shall be charges on each transaction as per the details below and final amount after deducting the charges will be credit in merchant account next day.

How to Avail Shivalik POS-

To avail the benefits of Shivalik Merchant Acquiring Services you need to have a:

  • Valid business establishment with up and running activity
  • Business that has been in existence for at least 6 months or more
  • Merchant application form duly filled
  • Identity proof
  • Address proof
  • Business Establish proof

Below are the documentation required-

 

Merchant Document Checklist for Public Limited Companies

 

1. Completely filled in Merchant Enablement Form (See Appendix for the form)

2. KYC Details (All documents should be self-attested by Merchants)

 
  1. Sales Tax registration/ Income Tax registration/ Municipal registration.

  2. Shops and Establishment Certificate or Trade License [Proof of Legality of business premises of registered office and operating office- if different].

  3. Memorandum /Articles of Association or Certificate of registration/ incorporation, as applicable. Form 32

  4. Audited Balance sheet & P & L statement for the last 2 years or Current Account statement for the last 1 year (Requirement as an Financial Proof for existing Business, but not applicable for the Startup Business).

  5. Proof of Identity of authorized signatories

  6. Proof of Address of authorized signatories

  7. Board resolution stating the name of the company official/s authorized to execute the Internet Payment Gateway Agreement.

  8. Cancel Cheq.

 

 Merchant Document Checklist for Sole Proprietorship

 

1. Completely filled in Merchant Enablement Form (See Appendix for the form)

2. KYC Details (All documents should be self-attested by Merchants)

  1. Any 2 of the below documents:

    (a) Registration certificate (in the case of a registered concern)

    (b) Certificate/license issued by the Municipal authorities under Shop & Establishment Act.

    (c) Sales and income tax returns.

    (d) CST/VAT certificate.

    (e) Certificate/registration document issued by Sales Tax/Service Tax/Professional Tax authorities.

    (f) License issued by the Registering authority like Certificate of Practice issued by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Indian Medical Council, Food and Drug Control Authorities, etc.

  2. Office address proof - Copy of your Landline Telephone Bill OR Electricity Bill, Bank Account Statement OR Passbook duly attested as “True Copy” by you with Proprietor stamp.

  3. PAN Card Copy - Duly attested as “True Copy” by you with Sole Proprietor stamp.

  4. Driving license or Aadhaar card or Passport or Voter id - Duly attested as “True Copy” by you with Sole Proprietor stamp.

  5. Bank Account Statement for last 6 months OR Audited Balance sheet & P & L statement for the last 2 years - Duly attested as “True Copy” by you with Sole Proprietor stamp. (Requirement as an Financial Proof for existing Business, but not applicable for the Startup Business)

  6. Cancel Cheq.

 

 Merchant Document Checklist for Partnership Firms

 

1. Completely filled in Merchant Enablement Form (See Appendix for the form)

2. KYC Details (All documents should be self-attested by Merchants)

  1. Sales Tax registration/ Income Tax registration/ Municipal registration.

  2. Shops and Establishment Certificate or Trade License [Proof of Legality of business premises of registered office and operating office- if different].

  3. Partnership Deed

  4. Audited Balance sheet & P & L statement for the last 2 years or Current Account statement for the last 1 year (Requirement as an Financial Proof for existing Business, but not applicable for the Startup Business).

  5. Proof of Identity of authorized signatories

  6. Proof of Address of authorized signatories

  7. Cancel Cheq.

 

 Merchant Document Checklist for Private Limited Companies
